LM Flanged Linear Bearing scheme
LM flanged bearings are designed for direct installation into CNC machine mechanisms. This design significantly reduces the overall dimensions of the working assembly while greatly increasing its rigidity on the guiding shaft. We also offer modifications of flanged linear bearings with an extended body.
The casing is made from bearing steel, while the cage is constructed from plastic. The bearings are equipped with double-sided seals made of vulcanized rubber O-rings.
Specifications
- Maximum Speed: 5 m/s
- Operating Temperature Range: -20°C to 80°C
- Friction Coefficient: 0.001 – 0.005
- Mounting Hole Tolerance: H7
Application
LM linear bearings are used for linear movement along cylindrical guides. The balls located within the bearings roll between the guide and the raceway in the bearing, providing low resistance to translational movement. As they move, the balls enter return channels, allowing them to pass without contacting the guide and creating no hindrance to movement. This design ensures high wear resistance for both the guide and the bearing, making LM flanged linear bearings suitable for the production of high-precision equipment and CNC devices.
Pay attention: Rolling linear bearings are not recommended for rotational movement
