Имеет линейную опору, которая выступает в качестве ребра жесткости для поддержания вала во время работы, что предотвращает прогибания и другие подобные деформации в процессе эксплуатации.
What are SBR Linear Guides?
SBR linear guides, also known as cylindrical rails, consist of a polished steel shaft mounted on an aluminum support. These devices are made from high-quality materials designed for strength and long-term use. They are easy to install and provide smooth, precise operation.
The combination of materials in SBR linear guides offers reliability, wear resistance, and the ability to withstand mechanical loads from steel, while benefiting from the lightweight and flexibility of aluminum.
These linear guides are installed directly onto the working surface (such as a base or housing part) using factory-installed mounting holes located at the bottom of the guide.
Compared to ordinary cylindrical shafts without supports, cylindrical rails are less susceptible to axial loads causing deflection. This design allows for the creation of structures with longer linear movement capabilities.
Specifications
SBR linear guides are used to build mechanisms for machines and 3D printers. They support the shaft along its entire length, preventing deflection due to loads or the shaft's own weight over long distances. The shafts are factory-induced hardened, ground, and feature mounting holes. The SBR linear guides available in our online store have the following specifications:
- Length of SBR linear guides ranging from 500 to 3000 mm.
- Diameter of the cylindrical rail for SBR linear guides from 10 to 25 mm.
Advantages of Cylindrical Linear Guides
Cylindrical guides offer several advantages over rail and roller guides, including:
- Higher load capacity due to a larger contact area between the guide and rolling elements.
- Reduced friction, ensuring smoother movement.
- Longer lifespan owing to less wear on both the guide and the rolling elements.
- Simple installation, as alignment is not required.
Compared to rail guides, this type is a more budget-friendly solution. Cylindrical guides are commonly used in linear tables, CNC machines, and processing centers.
Additionally, we also offer bearings compatible with all models of SBR linear guides available in our store.
